We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We only process the data we need for the purpose of our association and comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. Visiting this website
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit it, technically necessary data is processed, such as your IP address, date and time, the page visited and the browser used. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website. Cloudflare may also process data in the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the Swiss Federal Council has found an adequate level of data protection.
We do not use advertising or statistics cookies and do not use any tracking or analytics tools. Fonts and videos are loaded directly from our website, not from third parties.
3. Contact by email and contact form
When you write to us by email or via the contact form, we process your name, email address and message in order to reply to your enquiry. Messages from the form are forwarded via Cloudflare to our mailbox with the Swiss provider Infomaniak and are not stored on the website. To protect against spam, the Cloudflare Turnstile service checks on submission that a human is filling in the form. Technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics are processed for this; Turnstile does not set advertising or statistics cookies.
4. Pre-orders in the webshop
Pre-orders are placed through our webshop with the provider Saldia (foliaoliveoil.saldia.shop). There you enter the details we need for your order and pickup (e.g. name, email address, phone number, order, pickup location). Saldia’s privacy policy also applies to the webshop.
Payment by credit card or TWINT is handled by a payment service provider. We do not see your card or account details.
5. Links to Instagram
Our website links to our Instagram profile. Data is only transmitted to Meta Platforms once you click the link. Meta’s privacy policy then applies.
6. Disclosure and retention
We do not sell any data and only pass it on where this is necessary for processing (e.g. to the webshop and payment provider) or required by law. Members’ data is not disclosed to other members.
We keep data for as long as needed for the respective purpose. Accounting records are kept for the statutory period of ten years.
7. Your rights
You can request information about your data at any time and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it. Write to us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
8. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy. The version published on this website applies.
